It's so sad that their lives were so often treated as nothing more than an amusement for the general public, exploited, and left to end in such a sad state (plus the fact that one twin had to survive the death of her sister before her own tragic end brought me to tears). Thank you for sharing about these special sisters. They deserve to be in the spotlight again, but this time with the kind of respect that you paid them here.

♥ Jessica Witchcrafted Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02992822472797191121noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4374594538719761301.post-75737704685672506882014-11-17T10:50:06.537-05:002014-11-17T10:50:06.537-05:00I love the new blog design! I have such mixed feelings about freak shows, I find them completely fascinating and horrifying at the same time. It's definitely as interesting part of our past, I only wish that all who were/are involved in them are there of their own free will and choosing.

She Knits in PearlsAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14321740673038769138noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4374594538719761301.post-83687806601914516842014-11-16T22:04:46.111-05:002014-11-16T22:04:46.111-05:00It is indeed sad that they didn't have the lov...It is indeed sad that they didn't have the love and support in their lives that everyone deserves to have. It does make it understandable, although even more sad, that Daisy adopted out her child, without having had a happy family to inspire her with the ideas of what a family could have meant to them. It just reminds me that if there is one thing we cannot have too much of, it's love.Tanithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09915557658875958630noreply@blogger.com
