Old Hollywood Stars Gone Too Soon: Part Two

A Vintage Nerd, Vintage Blog, Old Hollywood Blog, Classic Film Blog, Old Hollywood Stars Gone Too Soon

There was a beautiful quote I found the other day from an unknown author that says, "Some are bound to die young. By dying young a person stays young in people's memory. If he burns brightly before he dies, his brightness shines for all time."

I think that holds true for anyone that dies young. We remember them as they were because we never see them change or look different. Many of the film and tv actors/actresses on this list will forever be remembered as we saw them on screen. We never saw Jean Harlow, Thelma Todd, or Marilyn Monroe grow into old women. We also never got to see who they would grow to become as they got older. What we do have are the memories of the characters they played and the gifts of their beauty and talents that are forever saved on film.

You can find the first half of this list here, Old Hollywood Stars Gone Too Soon: Part One.
