A Vintage Nerd has been around for 12 years but I have been blogging for over 14 years. For many years I was a part of the vintage community. These days there isn't much of a community because either people have stopped blogging, stopped exploring their passion for vintage, or dispersed because of the likes of Instagram and Tik Tok. There isn't a community anymore-no more sharing, no more exploring together-no more supporting each other.
From the very start Old Hollywood and Classic Cinema has been a large part of my blogging experience. Then a little over a year ago I tried my hand at becoming a part of the Classic Movie Blog Association. Finally I feel like I am part of a community again-it feels great. In order to participate and connect more with this amazing community of movie lovers, I have joined blogathons that members host.
