Floral 1960's Hairstyle Inspiration
With spring upon us here in the states, I wanted to share some floral 1960's hairstyle inspiration. You can find fake flowers at your local craft store and just go to town with them. I have always wanted to experiment and try one of these floral hairstyles. I think they are so pretty and feminine. Adding flowers to ones hair isn't a new things. The great Frida Kahlo made flowers in her hair a staple look of hers.
Flowers in your hair always says "spring" to me. Here are some floral 1960's hairstyle photo that you might find inspirational. My favorites are the first and last photos. Which are your favorites?
13 1960's Horror Movies That Are Still Terrifying Today
1960's horror films also played on the idea of innocence lost as a part of its scare factor. The naive person getting caught in a nightmare they don't quite understand. In many of the films I listed here the innocent characters usually go on a journey that typical doesn't always end well. 1960's horror showed the viewer that it isn't always things that go bump in the night that can scare us but the fear of not understanding what is going on around us.
Some of my favorite horror films from the 1960's are Peeping Tom (1960), The Birds (1963), and Night of the Living Dead (1968). I can watch a good spooky film anytime during the year but there is something extra special about watching it during the month of Halloween. The changing of the leaves and cool weather just make you want to cuddle up in front of a tv screen and watch something that will spook you out.
How many of these 1960's horror movies have you seen? What are some of your favorites?
Psycho (1960)
Dracula: Prince of Darkness (1966)
