My Top Favorite Episodes from The Twilight Zone

The Twilight Zone is one of my favorite television shows. It originally aired from 1959-1964. Like most people from my generation, I discovered this incredible classic tv show in the 1980's. Through the years I assumed I watched all 156 episodes until I started showing episodes to my children. After I realized that I need to watch all of the episodes, my children and I decided to take on this adventure together which you can read more about HERE.

Recently I was thinking about what my favorite Twilight Zone episodes were and I thought I would share them with you especially now that I have seen them all. These episodes are also a good place to start if you want to check out the show but don't know which episodes to start with. For years I would just watch any episode in no particular order. When I decided to tackle watching all of the episodes we did go through them in order of seasons but we skipped around because the kids found it fun to be able to pick the episode for the day. I basically gave each kid a turn every day and that made it fun for them.

I chose 32 episodes based on whether I enjoy watching them over and over, the quality of the story being told, the approach to story telling (A World of His Own 1960), and whether my children enjoyed them. Some of the episodes are bittersweet, some teach important life lessons, and some are just a pure joy to watch.
