Carol Burnett's performances on The Carol Burnett Show are a huge part of my childhood. I remember laughing at her skits even though I was a little kid. Everything I have ever watch Carol in was either funny, moving, or thought provoking. Her work is incredibly versatile with roles in Fame, Touched by an Angel, All My Children, Magnum P.I., Mad About You, and Glee.

I find Carol Burnett's life fascinating. I recently watched an episode of Finding Your Roots with Henry Gates, Jr. where Carol shares a little about her family and history. At some point I do want to read her books but if you are interested in learning more about her you can check out her autobiographies One More Time: A Memoir, This Time Together: Laughter and Reflection, and her book about her and her late daughter Carrie called Carrie and Me: A Mother-Daughter Love Story .
And Carol is not stopping any time soon as she is set to star in a miniseries called Palm Royale (2023). I am grateful that she is still willing to share her talents even at her age. Happy 90th Birthday, Carol Burnett!
