How would you like to see some classic Christmas films during this coming holiday season??! Fathom Events is showcasing with TCM as the host, not one but two classic Christmas films.

On Sunday, December 7th at selected theaters there will be a screening of a double feature of A Christmas Carol (1938) and Christmas in Connecticut (1945). You can read more about it HERE and find a theater near you HERE.

Then on Sunday and Monday of December 14th and 15th they will be screening White Christmas (1954) for its 60th Anniversary. You can read more about it HERE and find a theater near you HERE.

The screenings will be nationwide only in the states. I highly recommend that you try and score you tickets as soon as possible.

I have been lucky to have seen a few classic films on the big screen and I have to tell you it really is an amazing experience. I hope for those of you who are in the states that you will be able to see at least one of these screenings.

Have you seen any of these films? Seen any classic films on the big screen? Which ones?

  1. Ohh I'm super jealous! I've already been breaking out my classic Christmas films, I just finished watching Holiday Inn and Remember the Night. It would be nice if someone would screen these films locally, but our community theater no longer takes on older films, just weird new, experimental stuff.

  3. I've seen all of them multiple times, but never (to the best of my memory) on the big screen. Few cinemas, especially outside of big cities, show classic films here these days in Canada, unfortunately. I've said it before, but I'll say it again, I so wish that TCM would include their friendly neighbours to the north more in their events such as this. The channel airs up here, so why can't we enjoy screenings at our local theater, too? Oh well, thankfully in the case of these awesome Christmas classics, they're easy to come by and enjoy at home. Not quite the same, of course, but certainly lovely and such a wonderful tradition to enjoy each holiday season.

  4. Thanks for posting about this!!! Christmas in Connecticut is one of my favorite movies.
I love that TCM has been showing classic movies in theaters. I saw Gone With the Wind in the theater a couple of months back, and it was AWESOME!
