6 Traditional Holiday Activities in NYC

A Vintage Nerd, Vintage Blog, New York Christmas, New York Holiday Activities

Each state and town has their special activities and traditions when it comes to the holidays. Here in New York we are lucky to have some pretty spectacular activities that can be done alone, with friends, or with family. They are iconic and a big party of our city (Manhattan). If you have never done any of these holiday activities I assure you that they are as magical looking as they seem to be in pictures.

I have done 5/6 myself (minus the ice skating) and cannot wait to do them again but this time around, with my children. These activities just permeate of the holiday season and quickly put you in the festive mood.

  1. Going to FAO Schwarz (at any time of year) has been on my list of things to do before I die since I was a kid! One day...

  2. What a fabulously fun list!!! There are few places I'd like to get a chance to experience Christmas than NYC. Between blog posts like these, movies and TV shoes over the years, I've fallen extra in love with the Big Apple during the holidays. Hopefully one day!
