Last Spring I read a book called Popular: A Memoir: Vintage Wisdom for the Modern Geek and devoured it in two nights. Trust me, that was a feat onto itself because most books take me heaps longer due to my lifestyle but this book had me intrigued since page one. I knew I would have to suck it up and stay up late into the night because I had to find out how Maya Van Wagenen's journey ended.
After I read her book I immediately contacted her people in order to request an interview with her. It took me nine whole months to finally get my hands on this fantastic New Times best selling author but as many of you know-I am quite determined.
Maya and her team were quite lovely and before I knew it I had landed my interview and was told by the staff at Vintage Life Magazine that the interview will be included in their November 2014 issue! This is my fourth time being published in Vintage Life Magazine and I hope there will be many more to come!
I know many of you read Vintage Life Magazine, did you like the article? I'm really proud of how it turned out and even prouder that I stood steadfast at getting the interview with Maya Van Wagenen. I am proud to have read this book and happy to have worked with such a sweet girl so that more people can learn about her story.
If you haven't read the article you can find the issue HERE. If you are interested in learning more about her book you can read all about it HERE.
