Mad Men Night in New York

You cannot imagine my excitement when I heard that the Museum of Moving Image was going to host a Mad Men exhibit. From March 14 to June 14 the museum's exhibit will explore the process of Mad Men which will include large scale sets, props, art, video clips, and over 25 costumes (I may be tempted to take one home with me!).

This will be the first time items from the show will be shown in such a large scale. Matthew Weiner (creator of Mad Men) will be visiting one night in March to do a talk about the show and he personally selected a series of films to be shown between March 14 to April 26.

Keep your eyes peeled because if you are in New York or visiting there may be other Mad Men events happening in conjunction with the series ending. Two such neat tours that are already established here in New York are the Mad Men Tour and the Mad Men Cocktails Tour Experience.

Mad Men's final seven episodes will be airing on AMC on Sundays at 10pm from April 5 to May 17.

  1. Ooohh, wow, that sounds sensational!!! I hope you have a blast and share about your experience there with us. It's such an end of a TV era to see Mad Men wrap up later this year. So many amazing shows have also ended in the last couple of years (including another fabulous historical series, Boardwalk Empire) making it extra tough to say good bye to this truly (Roger) sterling series. :)
