I love all the vintage and retro reproductions my mother has in her closet. I asked her to keep everything she has so I can try them on later. When I was getting my outfit ready for my first day of school I started to think about what teens liked to wear for their back-to-school style years ago. I found a few pictures for inspiration of back-to-school styles that I would definitely wear.
I really like the cute sweaters and the long, flowing skirts in the 1950's, the big collars and mini skirts in the 1960's, the bell bottom jeans and their cute tops in the 1970's, and the pastel jumpers in the 1980's. The reasons I like these specific outfits is because I think these outfits look really comfortable to wear to school. I would wear these vintage outfits even if it wasn't for school. My personal favorites are the 1970's and 1980's outfits because it's simple but cute. I also think it would be easy to wear if I wanted to go somewhere to hang out with my friends.
