Ladies of the Chorus (1946)
As many of you know I love wearing berets. Whether its chilly or warm, the beret has been a staple in my wardrobe. It's become a permanent part of my personal vintage inspired style because they are just so comfortable and charming to wear. I was curious on how berets were worn in classic films and I ended up finding a lot of Old Hollywood beret inspiration.
Here are some of my favorite looks with starlets wearing berets in iconic classic films:
Ninotchka (1939)
The Postman Always Rings Twice (1946)
The Big Sleep (1946)
The Quiet Man (1952)
Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953)
A Woman is a Woman (1961)
What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? (1962)
Bonnie and Clyde (1967)
