The Stepford Wives (1975) starring Katherine Ross as Joanna Eberhart and Paula Prentiss as Bobby Markowe wasn't just a spooky film about suburban perfection and how far some will go to achieve it but it also had a lot of great fashion. Ross and Prentiss both wore some cute midriff tops which showcased their taut midsections. They also wore a lot of great 1970's causal looks like jeans, buttoned shirts, and leather jackets. There was also some incredible dresses that many of the cast wore throughout the film but especially towards the end.
This film is one of my favorites to watch around Halloween but I also love it because it showcases some great seventies fashion. Have you seen The Stepford Wives (1975)? If so, what did you think about the fashion in this film?
