Patriotic WWII Vintage Brooches

avintagenerd

Happy Independence Day to all my fellow Americans! Today is about remembering the amount of freedoms we have and we are indeed lucky in abundance.

Many Americans have BBQ's, picnics, family gatherings, or watch fireworks. Here in New York it is has been very damp and slightly dreary and although we opted out of having a BBQ we are having a very relaxing family day.

I hope you all enjoy your 4th of July or for many of you, your Friday and beginning of your weekend.

I wanted to share with you my growing collection of WWII Patriotic Brooches. I hold these dear to my heart and hope you like looking at them as much as I do.

  3. Your collection is growing in leaps and bounds and is so very, very fabulous!!! I have a smaller collection of WW2 Canadian sweetheart/Victory jewelry items myself and am thinking I should follow your lead and do a post about them next year for Canada Day. Hopefully by then, another one or two (or more!) will have joined the modest sized club. :)
