Embracing The Changes

Embracing changes isn't always easy to do whether its dealing with the weather, lifestyle, your figure, or even watching those around you evolve. This June we celebrated our first child's graduation from 8th grade.  It was a beautiful day celebrating our daughter's milestone. There have been many, many milestone's as of late and still more to come. As a mother I relish in the growth that my children are experiencing but also as a mom I find it overwhelming to take in so much change all at once.

One thing that has always helped me in managing a busy, life changing day is to doll up in a pretty dress and throw on some makeup. As silly as it is dressing up can really perk up your mood and get your head into a space of feeling good.

Embracing changes is the best way to deal with change. I find it better to embrace than to fight back things that are going to happen anyway. Next time you are faced with impending changes, find yourself a cute outfit, brush out your hair, and slap on your favorite lipstick. It may seem like a simple thing to do and some may even say its vain, but if you are facing some changes head-on you might as well look good and feel good while doing it.

What approach do you take when you have many changes coming your way? Do you embrace them or tend to avoid them at all costs?
