I think White Christmas (1954) is one of the best holiday films ever made. I know that is a huge declaration but between the cast, the humor, the feel good stories, the bromance, the music, dancing scenes, songs, and fashion-it literally has it all. I have shared many posts through the years about White Christmas (1954) but for this post I would love to share my favorite White Christmas (1954) costumes specifically worn by the Haynes sisters, Betty and Judy.
The great designer Edith Head was behind the designs of everything they wore. Head created pieces made with chiffon, rhinestones, velvet, and fur. She also styled the Haynes sisters in travel attire, dance outfits, and casual daywear for them to wear. The Haynes sisters we dressed stylishly in every scene in the film from their performance pieces, travel excursions, and sleep attire. Rosemary Clooney (Betty Haynes) and Vera-Ellen (Judy Haynes) wear each of Edith Head's designs like a dream. Which one of these costumes are your favorites? I honestly can't choose, I love them all.
