I thought I would start a new monthly series called Old Hollywood Fashion which will combine my love for Old Hollywood films, the actors and actresses who starred in them, the fashion they wore in the films, and the fashions they wore when they weren't making movie magic.
Since it is still summer here in New York and the high temperatures have been relentless, I wanted to share with you some fashion inspiration from Old Hollywood starlets and the sunglasses they wore on sunny days.
I absolutely love sunglasses and my favorite type of vintage sunglasses are from the 1960's and 1970's because they were daring, colorful, and gave full coverage. Which one of these did you like best? What film fashion or Old Hollywood fashion would you like to see here on A Vintage Nerd Blog?
I love vintage sunglasses! My favorite of this bunch are the ones Hepburn is wearing in the pic from How to Steal a Million...however, I must admit to being a bit biased since I have my grandma's pair of those from the 60's and have been wearing them since I was 10. ;)
